HES 9600 Series Surface-Mounted Electric Strike for Rim Exit Devices

The HES 9600 Series is a windstorm-resistant, surface-mounted electric strike designed for rim exit devices equipped with a Pullman latchbolt measuring up to 3/4-inch throw.

Its components are enclosed within a slim, 3/4-inch-thick stainless steel housing. Because the strike mounts directly to the surface of the frame, installation does not require cutting the frame. A separate mounting base and decorative cover simplify alignment and adjustment during installation.

The 9600 Series can be installed on metal or wood frames and is non-handed for use on applicable right- or left-hand openings. Field-selectable 12 or 24 VDC operation and field-selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation allow the strike to be configured for the requirements of the opening.

Engineered for demanding commercial access-control applications, the HES 9600 offers 2,000 lb static strength, 120 ft-lb dynamic strength and testing to 1,000,000 operating cycles. The strike is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified, suitable for outdoor use and designed to withstand the severe forces associated with ANSI windstorm testing.

Important: The HES 9600 Series is not fire rated.
