Overview

Hospitals and other health care environments have special requirements for noise reduction to help patients heal faster and staff perform efficiently. HL/PL Series are built on a tubular chassis and are designed for quiet operation. The short throw angle allows door opening with an easy push or pull action. Mount them horizontally or vertically in either direction. 

Ideal for use on:    

• Patient room doors
• Work areas where quiet concentration is desired 
• Busy traffic areas to reduce noise
• Chapels or auditoriums where noise can be disturbing 
• Office and administrative areas

Security 

• UL Listed for 3-hour fire door

Built to Last

• Every Schlage lock undergoes intensive testing including: cycle, resistance, door impact, warped door and bolt strength tests
