The HES 4500C Series is a low-profile, heavy-duty, fire-rated electric strike Complete Pac for compatible cylindrical and mortise locksets with latchbolts measuring up to 3/4 inch.

Designed for installations where frame depth is limited, the 4500C has a 1-3/8-inch-deep strike body. It is specifically designed to maintain 1/2-inch drywall penetration when installed in a 2-inch UL 10C fire-rated frame.

The Complete Pac includes two interchangeable faceplates: a centerlined faceplate for cylindrical locksets and an offset faceplate for mortise locksets. Both faceplates are non-handed, allowing one package to accommodate a broad range of latchbolt applications.

Heavy-duty stainless steel construction and a unique keeper-pin locking design provide 1,500 lb static strength, 100 ft-lb dynamic strength and testing to 1,000,000 operating cycles. The strike is field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation and supports 12 or 24 VAC/VDC.

Important: The HES 4500C accommodates latchbolts only. It does not accommodate a deadbolt. Its three-hour fire rating applies to fail-secure operation only.
