The HES 1600 Series is a heavy-duty, modular electric strike designed for compatible cylindrical and mortise locksets with or without a deadbolt. Its enhanced vertical cavity spacing accommodates deadbolts measuring up to 1 inch.

The 1600 Series is available as a universal electric strike body with the faceplate ordered separately or in three Complete Pac configurations. Choose the 1600CLB for latchbolt locks, the 1600CDB for locks with a deadbolt, or the 1600CS for a complete package containing both latchbolt and deadbolt faceplate kits.

Its modular design provides interchangeable faceplates, field-replaceable components and an integrated adjustable shim for precise alignment. The faceplate, keeper, case and trim are fully finished to complement the surrounding door hardware.

The HES 1600 is non-handed, field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation and supports 12 or 24 VAC/VDC. ElectroLynx connectors simplify wiring, while the 1-5/8-inch-deep strike body provides the internal clearance required for applicable deadbolt configurations.

Engineered for demanding commercial openings, the 1600 Series provides 1,500 lb static strength, 70 ft-lb dynamic strength and testing to 1,000,000 operating cycles.

Includes the HES 1600 electric strike body and the 1DB faceplate kit for compatible cylindrical and mortise locks with a deadbolt measuring up to 1 inch.

1600CS – Complete Electric Strike for Latchbolt and Deadbolt Locks
