The HES 1500 Series is a heavy-duty, modular electric strike designed for cylindrical and mortise locksets without a deadbolt. It is compatible with locks designed to work with an ANSI 4-7/8-inch strike plate and accommodates latchbolts measuring up to 3/4 inch.

The 1500 Series is available as the 1500 electric strike body with the faceplate ordered separately or as the 1500C Complete Pac, which includes the 1LB faceplate kit for latchbolt applications.

Its modular design features interchangeable faceplates, field-replaceable components and an integrated adjustable shim for precise alignment. The faceplate, keeper, case and trim are fully finished to help the electric strike blend with the surrounding door hardware.

The HES 1500 is non-handed, field selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation and supports 12 or 24 VAC/VDC. Its low-profile 1-3/8-inch-deep strike body is suitable for installations with limited space behind the jamb.

Engineered for demanding commercial applications, the 1500 Series provides 1,500 lb static strength, 70 ft-lb dynamic strength and testing to 1,000,000 operating cycles.

Important: The HES 1500 Series is designed for latchbolt locks without a deadbolt. For locks requiring deadbolt accommodation, select a properly configured HES 1600 Series electric strike.
