The HES 1006 Series is a heavy-duty, versatile electric strike platform designed for cylindrical and mortise lock applications. Depending on the selected model, the 1006 Series can accommodate latchbolt locks, locks with deadbolts measuring up to 1 inch, and applications requiring continuous deadbolt recapture.
The 1006 Series is available as a separate electric strike body or in several Complete Pac configurations containing the strike body and faceplates or brackets for specific lock applications. The 1006CS also includes a SMART Pac III.
Its dual interlocking plunger design and heavy-duty stainless steel construction provide exceptional strength for demanding commercial access-control openings. The strike delivers 2,500 lb static strength and 350 ft-lb dynamic strength in fail-secure operation and is tested to 1,000,000 operating cycles.
All models are non-handed and support 12 or 24 VDC operation. Fail-secure operation is standard, with fail-safe configurations available when specified.

The most comprehensive 1006 Series package for compatible cylindrical and mortise locksets with or without a deadbolt measuring up to 1 inch.
The 1006CS includes:

- SMART Pac III

- KD faceplate and brackets
- KM faceplate and brackets

1006CDB – Complete Pac for Deadbolt Locks
A complete solution for compatible cylindrical and mortise locksets equipped with a deadbolt measuring up to 1 inch.
The 1006CDB includes:
- HES 1006 electric strike body
- ND faceplate
- HM faceplate
- Required application brackets and hardware
This package is intended for deadbolt applications where the deadbolt is retracted during normal traffic hours. Depending on the installed configuration, the strike provides a night-latch or lockout function.
In a lockout configuration, the electric strike will not release while the deadbolt is extended.
1006CAS – Complete Pac for Continuous Deadbolt Recapture
A complete solution for applications requiring the strike to retain, release and recapture a normally extended deadbolt measuring up to 1 inch.
The 1006CAS includes:
- HES 1006 electric strike body
- N faceplate
- ND faceplate
- NM faceplate
- Required application brackets and hardware
In continuous recapture applications, the latchbolt and deadbolt are released through the keeper. The keeper remains open so the strike can recapture the latchbolt and extended deadbolt when the door closes.
