The Alarm Controls DE-1 Delayed Exit Timer is designed to provide secure delayed egress while maintaining safe emergency exit capabilities. Ideal for healthcare facilities, retail stores, schools, commercial buildings, and controlled access environments, the DE-1 helps prevent unauthorized exits while ensuring code-compliant emergency egress.
When activated, the large illuminated push button initiates a selectable nuisance delay followed by an adjustable countdown timer. During the delay period, an audible buzzer and flashing indicator alert occupants that the door will unlock, while an alarm sounds if unauthorized egress occurs. After activation, the unit requires a key switch reset and re-lock (or can be field configured for automatic re-lock).
Mounted on a durable stainless steel double-gang wall plate, the DE-1 offers dependable performance for access control and delayed exit applications.
