The Adams Rite 8400 Series Life-Safety Narrow Stile Mortise Exit Device combines panic hardware with a mortise deadlatch locking solution for single narrow-stile aluminum door applications. It fits the standard door preparation used for the Adams Rite 4900 Heavy Duty Deadlatch, making it especially useful for new installations and compatible retrofit projects.
The extruded-aluminum push bar is available in multiple anodized or clad finishes. Standard device lengths accommodate 30", 36", 42" and 48" door openings, with supported devices field-cuttable to the next smaller opening width. The 8400 Series is certified to UL 305 for panic hardware and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 requirements. Adams Rite
