3348A & 3548A Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Devices
Designed for hollow metal single and double doors, the 3348A and 3548A series exit devices offer premium safety and functionality, and are UL listed for panic exit hardware. These devices meet ANSI A156.3 – 2008 Grade 1 standards, ensuring reliable performance in demanding commercial applications.

The 3348A features a grooved mechanism case, while the 3548A offers a smooth mechanism case. Both models incorporate a one-piece center case cover for enhanced durability and streamlined appearance. These concealed vertical rod devices are non-handed, with the exception of configurations using the SS (Signal Switch) option.

Compatibility & Design:

  • Fits door stiles as narrow as 2 1/8" (44 mm)

  • Door size compatibility:

    • 2' for 610 mm doors

    • 3' for 660 mm to 914 mm doors

    • 4' for 813 mm to 1219 mm doors

  • Device centerline from finished floor: 39 13/16" (1006 mm) standard (adjustable from 35 5/8" to 49 5/8" (905 mm to 1260 mm))
