The SDC 7700 Series Motorized Latch Retraction & Solenoid Controlled Mortise Locks combine motorized electric latch retraction and independent solenoid lever control in a heavy-duty Grade 1 mortise lockset. Designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional applications, the 7700 Series provides flexible access control while maintaining a secure latched condition for improved fire door integrity.

The Motorized Latch Retraction (MLR) function electronically retracts the latch for controlled access and is designed for use with fire-rated doors and automatic door operators. The lock remains latched when de-energized, supporting building and fire life safety requirements.

The integrated solenoid control independently controls the inside, outside, or both door levers. Because the MLR and solenoid functions operate independently, the 7700 Series can provide versatile passage configurations combined with fail-safe or fail-secure access control. This combination also supports ADA-compliant door operation.

Built with SDC's proprietary vandal-resistant clutch, the 7700 Series is engineered to withstand demanding commercial environments while providing dependable long-term operation. A mortise cylinder allows the latch to be manually retracted when required.
