Compact HID-Compatible Readers for Access Control Systems
The SDC IPRW Series Wiegand Proximity Readers provide reliable credential-based access control in a sleek, compact design suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Designed as the ideal companion to SDC's IPPro® Single Door Controller, the IPRW Series can also interface with most standard access control systems using 26-bit Wiegand output.
Each reader combines a 125 kHz HID-compatible proximity reader with flexible mounting options, making the series an excellent choice for commercial, institutional, industrial, and controlled-access applications. An IP67-rated housing provides protection against dust and water, allowing the readers to be installed in demanding environments.
The IPRW Series features an externally controlled LED indicator that displays red for power and green for authorized access. An integrated audible annunciator provides audible feedback when a credential is presented and can also be controlled externally by the host access-control system.
