Standalone PIN-Based Access Control for Single-Entry Applications
The SDC 918 Series Indoor Digital Keypads provide reliable standalone access control for a single entry point and support up to 500 users. Each user is assigned a personal identification number (PIN), allowing authorized personnel to enter a programmable 1- to 6-digit code to activate one or both output relays and release an electric door lock.
Designed for commercial, institutional, industrial, and controlled-access environments, the 918 Series combines a durable 3/32" thick stainless steel faceplate with a compact single-gang mounting configuration. The illuminated, moisture-resistant keypad provides convenient operation, while dual LED indicators and adjustable audible annunciation provide clear access and lockout feedback.
The 918W models are designed to interface with SDC's IPPro® controllers and most compatible access-control systems, providing flexible integration for electronically controlled doors.

Flexible Output Control
The 918 Series provides two relay and two solid-state outputs, allowing the keypad to control connected access-control devices with flexible programming options. User PINs can be assigned to Relay 1 and/or Relay 2, allowing different credentials to control different outputs when required.
Enhanced Access Security
Built-in security functions help prevent unauthorized use and improve access management. Timed Anti-Passback and Anti-Tailgate features help regulate credential use, while the keypad tamper lockout function helps protect against repeated unauthorized code attempts.
Dual LED indicators provide visual feedback for access and lockout conditions, while adjustable audible annunciation provides additional user feedback.
Durable Single-Gang Design
The 918 Series features a rugged 3/32-inch stainless steel faceplate and tamper-resistant screws for dependable installation in commercial and institutional environments. Its illuminated keypad can be configured for continuous, disabled, or timed illumination to suit the installation.
