SDC 55 Series 3/4" Latchbolt Electric Strikes
SDC’s 55 Series 3/4" Latchbolt Electric Strikes are heavy-duty access control strikes engineered for hollow metal door frames in demanding commercial, institutional, and high-security applications. They are designed to control access for cylindrical locksets, mortise locksets with or without deadbolts, and mortise exit devices.
The 55 Series accepts 3/4" throw latchbolts and accommodates deadbolts with up to 1" throw, providing a versatile solution for both new installations and retrofit applications.
Designed for Easy Retrofit Installation
With six interchangeable application faceplates, the 55 Series eliminates the need for centerline relocation and is designed to retrofit existing ANSI 4-7/8" strike preparations. This makes the series well suited for upgrading existing openings to electronic access control without extensive frame modifications.
