SDC 45 Series 5/8" Latchbolt Electric Strikes

SDC’s 45 Series 5/8" Latchbolt Electric Strikes are compact, centerline latch-entry electric strikes designed for cylindrical locksets and mortise locksets without deadbolts. Suitable for both metal and wood frames, the 45 Series provides reliable electronic access control for commercial, institutional, and high-traffic applications.

The standard 45 Series accepts 5/8" throw latchbolts, or latchbolts up to 3/4" throw when used with a 1/8" door gap. For fire-rated applications, the 45F Series accepts 9/16" throw latchbolts, or up to 5/8" throw with a 1/8" door gap.

Compact, Durable Construction

Built with stainless steel components, a durable die-cast housing, and fewer moving parts, the 45 Series is engineered for long service life and corrosion resistance. Its low-profile design makes installation easier in applications where jamb space is limited.

The centerline latch-entry design positions the latch at the strike's centerline—exactly between the top and bottom of the faceplate. For new and retrofit installations, always use the manufacturer's installation instructions and template to determine the correct strike location before preparing the frame.
