SDC’s 30 Series 3/4" Pullman Latchbolt Electric Strikes are heavy-duty electric strikes designed for rim-mounted exit devices with Pullman-style latchbolts. Built with stainless steel components, housing, and faceplate, the 30 Series provides excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and tamper resistance for demanding, high-traffic commercial applications.

Designed to accept 3/4" throw Pullman latchbolts, these electric strikes feature convenient horizontal adjustment for precise installation and alignment. Milled ramps help accommodate deadlatches, while the integrated spacer plate shim allows for quick customization of faceplate thickness.

The 30 Series comes standard with fail-secure operation, which keeps the keeper locked when power is removed and unlocks the keeper when energized. Fail-safe operation is available as an option, allowing the keeper to unlock during a power failure. Fail-safe operation is not permitted when the strike is being used with a UL fire door accessory label.

With a non-handed design, internally mounted solenoid, spike protection, and pigtail connectors, SDC 30 Series electric strikes provide a reliable solution for integrating rim exit devices with electronic access control systems.

Fail-Secure vs. Fail-Safe

Fail-Secure (Standard): The keeper unlocks when the strike is energized and remains locked when power is removed or during a power failure.

Fail-Safe (Optional): The keeper locks when energized and unlocks when power is removed or during a power failure. Fail-safe operation is not permitted with a UL fire door accessory label.

Compatibility

The SDC 30 Series is intended for use with compatible rim-mounted Pullman latchbolt exit devices. These strikes are not compatible with SDC S6000 Series exit devices. Use the appropriate 30 Series template to verify exit device compatibility before ordering.
