SDC’s 25 Series Value 1/2" Latchbolt Electric Strikes are compact, heavy-duty electric strikes designed for use with cylindrical locksets and metal frames. These centerline latch entry strikes accept 1/2" throw latchbolts or latchbolts with up to 9/16" throw when used with a 1/8" door gap, making them a versatile solution for commercial access control applications.

The 25 Series features a low-profile design with an internally mounted solenoid and factory-supplied mounting tabs for quick, straightforward installation where available jamb space is limited. Durable construction and corrosion-resistant stainless steel components make these strikes well suited for high-traffic commercial openings.

With fewer moving parts, field-selectable operation, field-selectable dual voltage, and integrated voltage and current spike protection, the 25 Series provides reliable electronic access control in a compact package. The non-handed design simplifies installation, while screw terminals and standard latch status (LS) provide convenient wiring and monitoring options.

Centerline Latch Entry

The SDC 25 Series is a centerline latch entry electric strike, meaning the lockset latch must enter the strike at the centerline located exactly between the top and bottom of the strike faceplate.

For both new-frame and retrofit installations, refer to the SDC installation instructions and template to determine the correct strike location before preparing the frame.
