The SDC 1562SC Series HiShear® Semi-Concealed Electromagnetic Shear Locks combine high-security electromagnetic locking with a clean, architecturally appealing installation. Designed, engineered, and built in America, the 1562SC Series features a concealed mortise lock with a surface-mounted armature, providing reliable locking performance while keeping the lock discreet.

Patented HiShear® Design

The innovative HiShear® design incorporates a floating armature assembly and special alloy steel shear tabs on both the lock and armature assemblies. The components are adjustable both vertically and laterally, allowing the lock to compensate for wide door gaps, warped doors, and misaligned doors for dependable locking and relocking.

Advanced electronic circuitry provides an automatic sensing dual-voltage input and a door alignment relock sensor, helping ensure proper engagement before the door is secured.
