The SDC 1560 Series HiShear® Concealed Electromagnetic Shear Locks deliver high-security access control with a clean, architecturally superior appearance. Designed, engineered, and built in America, these concealed shear locks are ideal for commercial openings where reliable electromagnetic locking performance and minimal visual impact are essential.

With holding force options up to 2,700 lbs, the 1560 Series is engineered for commercial-grade hollow metal and wood doors with metal frames, as well as Herculite glass doors with top rails. The fully concealed mortise design keeps the locking hardware discreet while providing dependable failsafe operation.

Advanced HiShear® Technology

The patented HiShear® design incorporates a floating armature assembly and special alloy steel shear tabs in both the lock and armature assemblies. The locking components can be adjusted vertically and laterally to compensate for wide door gaps, warped doors, and door misalignment, helping maintain reliable locking performance.

Advanced electronic circuitry includes a door alignment relock sensor and automatic sensing dual-voltage input. Integrated noise dampeners also significantly reduce the sound produced during locking and unlocking compared with conventional shear locks.
