Concealed Electric Bolt Locks for Commercial Access Control
SDC 1091 and 1291 Series Spacesaver® Right Angle Electric Bolt Locks provide a compact, concealed locking solution for commercial, institutional, and industrial access control applications. Designed and patented by SDC, the Spacesaver® right-angle bolt design allows the lock to be installed with a simple mortise cutout in virtually any standard frame or most door lock stiles.
With the locking mechanism concealed within the frame or door, these electric bolt locks provide a clean architectural appearance while improving security and simplifying installation. The right-angle stainless steel bolt projects perpendicular to the lock body and rotates freely, making it significantly more difficult to tamper with or cut.
Reliable Electric Locking & Automatic Relocking
Both models feature specification-grade solenoids engineered for dependable operation, strength, and long service life. An automatic relock ball switch keeps the bolt retracted while the door is open. When the door closes, it depresses the ball switch and automatically triggers the bolt to project and secure the opening.
The field-adjustable, bidirectional ball switch accommodates varying door gaps and allows the 1091 / 1291 Series to be used with both swinging and sliding doors.
