The Locinox MAGNUS combines a motorized hinge, automatic gate operator and gate closer in one compact system. Designed for pedestrian swing gates weighing up to 440 lb and measuring up to 5 feet wide, it automatically opens and closes the gate while operating in low-energy mode.

Its brushless, reversible motor provides up to 100 Nm of torque and allows the gate to be moved manually when necessary. Automated obstacle detection reverses the gate after detecting an obstruction, while operating speed, force, access-control functions and other settings can be configured through the Locinox mobile app.

The MAGNUS includes integrated electronics, a steel gearbox and an anodized aluminum cover. It also includes the matching lower hinge and an external connection box with three inputs and three outputs. Because the motor is reversible, Locinox requires the system to be used with a compatible lock.

• A compatible mechanical or electric gate lock is required because the MAGNUS uses a reversible motor.
