The Locinox LION is a compact hydraulic retrofit gate closer designed for gates weighing up to 165 lb and measuring up to approximately 43-5/16" wide. Because it is a retrofit closer, the LION works with the gate’s existing hinges rather than replacing them.
Both 90-degree and 180-degree railsets are included, providing flexibility for different gate and hinge configurations. The closer features independently adjustable closing speed and final action, allowing the gate’s closing movement to be configured for smooth operation and reliable latch engagement.
An integrated pretension system simplifies installation, while Locinox’s hydraulic damping helps maintain consistent closing performance during temperature fluctuations. The weather-resistant anodized aluminum housing is scratch-resistant and corrosion-free, making the LION suitable for exterior gate applications.
