The combination is entered using five vandal-resistant metal pushbuttons. The code can be changed through the keypad without removing the lock from the cabinet door.
The Simplex 962X is designed for wood doors measuring 5/8" to 7/8" thick. Depending on the exact configuration selected, it can be ordered with a cross-throw or end-throw bolt arrangement, a standard deadbolt or spring-loaded latch, an optional trim plate and optional key override.
